School For Robots
This is a concept pop/rock album -- some could say it is a rock opera -- but it doesn't sound like one. It follows the story of a small town invaded by zombies, and the madness that ensues. Weaving samples from George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead, along with Muggorsky and musical nods to influences such as Tom Waits, Harry Nilsson, Dio and Pink Floyd, this is School for Robots at ease. All material was completely written and recorded by band-leader Curtis Killian in February, and also features members of fellow Boston rockers Left Hand Does.
